Consistent with the Conference Report for the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, signed into law by President Bush on January 8, 2002, which report provides in part at H.R. Rep. 107-334, p. 703, "Where topics are taught that may generate controversy (such as biological evolution), the curriculum should help students to understand the full range of scientific views that exist…," be it resolved therefore: When the theory of biological evolution is taught in the public schools of _____________________, the scientific arguments both pro and con should be presented. |
